Portable monitors are getting increasingly popular as they allow us to do more on the move.
JAPANNEXT has released the JN-MD-IPS13U2KP, a 13-inch mobile monitor with a built-in kickstand and 2,160 x 1,350 pixel 2k resolution. The price is 168 USD, so very reasonable.
This mobile monitor has a higher resolution than the typical 1,920 x 1,080 FHD pixels. It also has a built-in kickstand so it can stand on its own.
Other main JN-MD-IPS13U2KP specifications include an IPS (FFS) panel, 16.7 million display colors, sRGB color gamut, 25ms response speed, 450cd/m2 brightness, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, and a viewing angle of 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally.
The interface selection of JN-MD-IPS13U2KP is pretty stellar – Mini HDMI, USB Type-C x 2. The main body size is 289 x 18 x 189 mm, and the weight is about 0.5 kg.
In addition, the 55-inch digital signage LCD monitor JN-V55UHD-U, which supports 3,840 x 2,160 pixel display, will also be released at the same time. The price is 435 USD. This one clearly isn’t portable.
