Panasonic India uploaded teaser images at the Panasonic India Facebook page. It also uploaded a teaser video on YouTube containing some specifications of the Panasonic P31, which was later removed. As per the video, the P31 will run Android (unspecified version). It also didn’t detail whether the device is a single SIM or a dual-SIM one.
According to the video, Panasonic P31 will feature a five-inch FWVGA (854x480p), oleo-phobic (smudge-free) screen, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Details about the GPU and the RAM of the device were not reported.
Other details from the teaser video indicate the Panasonic P31 will have a 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. There are no details on the storage capacity of the phone, as yet. The P31 might have 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity options, besides also having GPS on board.
There are no details on the battery. Nor are the dimensions of the device unveiled. As per the official teaser images on Panasonic India Facebook page, P31 will feature ‘gesture play’. The second teaser talks about the ‘Pop-I player’ on the Panasonic P31, details a “multi-tasking video application”.
