Dell has just released new 14” and 16” laptops with new Intel Core Ultra processors. Prices start at $1150 and $1250 respectively.
Dell Inspiron 14 Plus review
Both Dell Inspiron 14 Plus and 16 Plus come with latest Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU and can use AI acceleration with the built-in NPU. They also have AI functions for web conferencing such as AI noise reduction and Microsoft Studio Effects. The case is highly durable and complies with MIL-STD-810H standards, and has a built-in TPM firmware. The keyboard is also equipped with a Copilot key.
Specifications include either 14” 2,240 x 1,400 dots/60Hz non-glossy panel or a 16” 2,560 x 1,600 dots/120Hz non-glossy panel, Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, 16GB/32GB memory, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and runs Windows 11 Home OS.
Inspiron 14 Plus measures 314 x 226.56 x 15.99-18.99 mm and weighs 1.6 kg, and Inspiron 16 Plus’ dimensions are 356.78 x 250.6 x 16.7-19.75 mm while weighing a modest 1.9 kg. Both are available in only Ice Blue color and yes the keyboard is backlit allowing you to type in the dark.
The maximum resolution supported by HDMI is 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. 4K/2K output is not supported.
